Respect the work behind every photo
Hosts must have the right to use uploaded photos and listing text. Copyright complaints are recorded for staff review. Publication of a designated-agent contact and registration must be completed by the operator before claiming statutory safe harbor.
Submit a copyright notice
Identify the copyrighted work, the exact listing or image URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury, and your physical or electronic signature.
Review, takedown, and counter-notice
Authorized staff review notices and can disable reported listings. Affected uploaders may submit a counter-notice with the required identifying information and statements. Repeat infringement may lead to account restrictions. Staff actions are recorded in the audit trail.
